About the Girl behind the Blog

Ali- That’s me!-

I am the only person behind this blog. So whenever I can, I like to share how I felt about a certain book with anyone who likes to read books. I’m currently in the Seattle area and attending a local college to become a publisher/ and or a person who does anything with books for a career.

Why I made a blog?

I thought it would be a great way to talk with authors and other reviewers/ readers who like to read just as much as I do.

Why should you follow my blog?

I have read many books and am in the know for book signings in the Seattle area. Plus I really do love talking to people about what they are reading and if they have any suggestions for me too. ( I also love to help people find the next book/ series that they will love)

Why I love to read?

I don’t know if I have a good answer for that, other than it gets me away from everything in life for a while. Its also brought me some great friends whether they are characters, authors, people who have read the same book, or the books themselves.

What I love to read?

I’m really into Young Adult right now because the books in the genre are just getting really good. I feel like every time I good online or to the bookstore I find more and more that blow me away. I’m also into New Adult, because I feel like its more relatable (age wise), then some Young Adult is. Another big reason why I like it is because I myself am going through what the characters are also going through (College).

My other big passion in life is Manga/anime, growing up I didn’t read at all, till one day my friend told me about this show NARUTO (which some of you might have heard of). Anyway, I had also seen some of the show but thought it was stupid, but my friend told me to give it another chance and watch one episode all the way through. A week later I finally did and the next thing I know I was in the love with the show and just about everything else that had to do with it. To this day I have a massive amount of Manga and Anime in my house and follow many series and shows. I even ran an anime club at my local library for four years while I was in high school….

  1. I would’ve loved to have worked in a library in high school! Instead, I worked in retail–my longest stint being in a toy store. I suppose that isn’t so bad, but I would rather have reshelved books than Barbie dolls. 🙂 Looking forward to reading more of your reviews!

      1. How did I miss that “review policy” in the main tabs section? Nevermind, thank you for your courteous response. I will send you an email shortly with the details of my book 🙂
