I love getting these boxes in the mail! I’m always surprised by what I find every month, even the book is surprising to me (and I’m so happy that I haven’t been spoiled in a good while).

Jumping straight into the box, we got a coin bank/ pencil holder with a quote and art inspired by The Night Circus. This was a new item, its useful and cute. I can see myself saving loose change away fr a book fund. To go along with this item, we get a shakespear set of pencils. Each pencil has a quote from the most famous of his works and already come sharpened! This wasn’t really a surprising item idea or a new one, and was meh.

Then we got a shower steamer (which I have used by now, and was nothing great. Felt like I was using a bath-bomb in the shower, so no real effect). We also got another bag of coffee from the Bones Coffee company. I don’t really care about this item because I don’t drink coffee. But, I have friends who do- so I’ve already given this item away. Paperbackbones designed a habit tracker inspired by The Greatest Showman for this box. I’m kind of in the middle of the rating spectrum for this item. It’s nice and I’ll use it, but its not anything new.

Lastly, we come to the book and enamel pin. The pin is a stamp featuring a place from this months book. This is a really cute idea and I love this pin! The book this month is Where Dreams Descend by Janella Angeles. We get this book almost two months early, as it comes out August 25, 2020. Anyway, the Owlcrate team went full special edition for this book-its a naked hardback with foil design on it,  special end-papers, signed page and an author letter (and two laptop stickers too). I love this special edition and I am so ready to read this book as soon as I can. Getting some phantom of the Opera vibes with this months book, and the book and pin were my favorite items of this months box.

Rating of box: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
