Bookish Spotlights: Review of Fox & Wit’s “Swimming Lessons” May Box

This is part of their monthly YA full box subscription, although this month was just a book parcel because of complications due to COVID-19.

What’s in the box?

-Spotify playlist

-Comic strip poster from A Darker Shade of Magic, by @angelanimates

-Special edition copy of Breath Like Water by Anna Jarzab. This copy comes with an author letter, signed bookplate and the pages are stained light blue.

Although this was a mini box this month, due to COVID-19 delays. I still ended up liking the three items. We got a new playlist this month to match the book, which is so pretty. I gotta say this is my favorite color that I’ve seen sprayed edges wise. I am such a sucker for light blue and it matches the book so well!

We also got the new monthly comic strip by the artists @angelanimates. This month we got a comic strip of a scene from the Darker Shade of Magic series (yes, of Kell and Lila). I’m loving this new monthly collectible, and I can’t wait to see what June will be!

Though this was a smaller box then normal, it was pretty perfect and I really can’t wait to get some much needed downtime to read Breath Like Water.

Rating of box: 4 out of 5 stars.
