Review of Indigo by F D Soul

Indigo by F D Soul

Review: I have been looking forward to reading this book since I found out about it. I just love reading F.D. Soul’s poetry on Instagram and am so happy to finally have my own copy/ I thought the poems in this collection was nice but not that moving. At least for me it wasn’t. Although, I do have a few favorites that really spoke to me and I thought were beautiful.

Favorite Quote:

There will come a

time when you will

live.

beautifully,

ecstatically live

rather than

simply

survive.

I can’t tell you how much

I need you to see me.

My love, you

have no idea of the

power you hold

in those soft little hands

of yours.

we are thieves,

all of us,

in this rebellion

we call ‘art’

I will tell you this

again and again

and again;

you are enough

you are so incredibly

enough.

Would I? Reread? Maybe. Lend to others? I think so, yes.
