Review of The Universe of Us by Lang Leav

The Universe of Us by Lang Leav

Review: I have heard and read some of Leav poems before, but this was the first time I picked up a copy of one of her books for myself. And I have to say that I loved the poetry in this book. It felt real, now all poetry is real in a way but in this, The Universe of Us, had a depth to each and every poem. I have so many flags (nine or so)marking the poems I can’t stop rereading, because I kept falling a little in love with each word Lang Leav put down.

Favorite quote:

when you lose a person, a whole universe goes with them.
