Review of Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo

Review: I was told to not read this book till the second and last book of the series came out first. I am so happy I waited, because I don’t think I could have handled how Six of Crows ended without jumping into the next book.

This book was insane and intense, and a bit funny. Although Leigh Bardugo seems to have been able to put me under a spell as I read the characters. I’m saying this because whenever the characters were in danger or not sure if they could pull off the heist, I was yelling. Whenever they had their soft moments of love or sadness, I was yelling or crying. You never once notice how fast you have come to love these characters till its done. Because at the end I was like ” well it seems that I have fallen completely in love with this rag tag group of misfits. And I don’t regret a damn thing”.

Its hard doing a review for a book like this because I just loved it to pieces. I mean the different characters, their pasts, why they were willing to go so far. And can we please talk about the SHIPPING!!!!! So much of it and many, many characters ( SHIPS).

First one -duh- Kaz and Inej, they are so flipping cute! I just love the slight hints about them liking each other!!!

Second Nina and Mathis, OMG this is the only thing I have ever wanted in my life. I have never prayed so hard for a couple, this is my life now.

Third Wylan and Jesper, I love their relationship. Jesper says something Wylan blushes and looks away!!!!! Super cute!

I need more! I next the next book, oh wait its here next to me now. I have to go!!!!

Favorite Quote(s): “The heart is an arrow. It demands aim to land true”.

“I will have you without armor, Kaz Brekker. Or I will not have you at all”.

“It hurt. The world hurt. Touching him hurt,  but she still did it. She might not ever get to again. “I am not sorry”.

Would I? Buy this book for everyone I know? Y-E-S!!!!! Would I buy this in audio-book format? YES. Would I tell others to read this series? Hell Yeah!!!
