Siege and Storm (The Grisha #2) by Leigh Bardugo
Review: OMG! This book was so amazing I don’t even know where to start talking about all its awesomeness! I really thought that this second book couldn’t possibly blow my mind as much as the first one had done before. But I was wrong, I have no brain anymore. Its gone. “Poof”. Leigh Bardugo does a great job of adding just enough detail describing the landscape and the characters that makes you feel like you are one of them. Its is also one of the coolest book with a strong independent female main character, who doesn’t need a man to be strong or happy. Because in this book another love interest is introduced, which makes three guys all wanting Alina. I love her because she doesn’t need any of them to be herself. But I just hope she learns that in the third book, instead of debating with herself and Mal ( love interest one), about who she needs to be. And just be herself with all that glorious power of hers. This book leaves you desperate for more and going crazy about what’s going to happen next to Alina.

Summary: Darkness never dies.

Hunted across the True Sea, haunted by the lives she took on the Fold, Alina must try to make a life with Mal in an unfamiliar land. She finds starting new is not easy while keeping her identity as the Sun Summoner a secret. She can’t outrun her past or her destiny for long.

The Darkling has emerged from the Shadow Fold with a terrifying new power and a dangerous plan that will test the very boundaries of the natural world. With the help of a notorious privateer, Alina returns to the country she abandoned, determined to fight the forces gathering against Ravka. But as her power grows, Alina slips deeper into the Darkling’s game of forbidden magic, and farther away from Mal. Somehow, she will have to choose between her country, her power, and the love she always thought would guide her–or risk losing everything to the oncoming storm.
